Shawn Boutot, Founder/CEO

Shawn BoutotShawn is a graduate from the University of Maine with a BS degree in Sociology. Shawn Boutot served as a Special Agent for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) through May 2014. Duties included investigating money laundering, commercial fraud, narcotic smuggling, worksite enforcement, child pornography as well as covert and overt cyber intellectual property rights. Shawn is a graduate of the elite Federal Law Enforcement Academy in Brunswick, Georgia.

Shawn was assigned to the United Nations General Assembly in New York City in 2009 and 2012. He assisted the Secret Service with Presidential and Diplomatic Protection.


With his knowledge and training, Shawn's vision was to develop a professional threat mitigation consultant firm, which would serve and protect clients by taking a proactive rather than reactive approach.

Shawn in 2009 was one of the lead ICE agents responsible for investigating an active shooter event at a civic center in Binghamton, NY where 13 people were killed and 4 wounded.

Shawn has deep relationships within the US as well as internationally within the law enforcement and military communities.  This gives him the unique ability to engage threat mitigation and security experts throughout the US and the globe as valued resources and consultants for Alaris engagements and programs. 


Chris Bridges, Sr. Program Director, Education and Ministry

Chris Bridges

Chris earned his BA degree from the University of Tennessee and his Master’s degree in Christian Education from Southern Seminary. Chris worked in educational ministry for over 18 years, leading large ministries of volunteers and staff. In addition to his commitment to the church, Chris has always been an entrepreneur at heart, owning and managing multiple successful businesses during his career.

Chris enjoys working with and helping people, such as training and cultivating leadership. In addition to his visionary leadership, Chris has vast experience in project management, creative concept design and implementation, as well as logistics.







Todd Thomas, Sr. Program Director, Operations

Todd Thomas

Todd earned his BA degree from the University of South Florida and has spent the majority of his 25-year career in the Human Capital Management and Staffing Industries. As a corporate executive and leader, Todd has managed partnership relationships with companies such as Coca Cola, Dell, Jabil, Valpak, and many more. During this time, Todd also managed large and small OSHA Compliant Safety Programs. 

Todd has extensive experience managing and recruiting diverse teams and operations. As a Regional Manager over the State of Florida for a large, $2-Billion staffing firm, Todd was twice awarded Risk Management Region of the Year, based on his region’s safety of compliance record.

Todd resides in Tampa with his wife, Kristin, and his three children.





Scott Clark, Sr. Program Director, Marketing

Scott Clark

Scott has over 20 years of experience creating and handling marketing and advertising campaigns as owner and founder of Clark Combs Advertising & Marketing, a full-service agency based in Tampa, Fla. In addition, Clark has enjoyed a long career in sports media, which started while earning his BA degree from the University of Maryland in 1990.

Clark started his career in the media relations offices for the Washington Wizards of the NBA and the Washington Capitals of the NHL, which eventually led to him becoming the Sports Information Director at two Division I schools, Jacksonville University and Louisiana Tech University. Along with his duties as a college athletics administrator, Clark also provided TV color commentary for college baseball and basketball for Fox Sports and ESPN (1992-97). 

Clark resides in South Tampa with his two children, Caroline and Will.
